Where every field comes from

Every figure and date on this site either comes from a primary source we link to, or is labelled as AI-drafted. This page lists each field, its source, how it is produced and how often it is refreshed. The editorial policy covers what we publish and why; the methodology covers the checks behind it.

Company pages

FieldSourceHow it is producedRefresh
Cash and investments, quarterly operating burn, shares outstandingSEC XBRL company factsRead as numbers from the latest 10-Q or 10-K; a balance that fails a consistency check against the balance sheet, or is too old, is withheld rather than shown.Daily
Cash runwayDerived from the two figures aboveCash divided by quarterly burn, times three. Not shown for a company funded by its own revenue, or when the result exceeds seven years.Daily
Upcoming catalystsClinicalTrials.govA trial’s primary-completion date, labelled as the date data collection is scheduled to end, not when results are released. Entries without a registry record are removed. On manual run
Pipeline phase and stopped programsClinicalTrials.gov, checked against the drafted pipelineTrial IDs must be real NCT numbers. A program whose pivotal study is terminated, withdrawn or suspended is marked stopped, with a link to the record. On manual run
Sponsor trial recordClinicalTrials.govEvery Phase 2 or 3 study the company sponsors, counted by outcome, with the reason given for each one stopped early.Daily
Listing statusChecked by hand against exchange and company announcementsRecorded with the date it was checked. An unchecked company never gets a brokerage link. When an editor changes it
Written analysis (summary, bull and bear case, risks)AI-drafted from the page’s own recordThe model is given only the figures, pipeline and sourced catalysts on the page; a draft that cites any number not in that record, reuses template phrasing or closely copies another profile is rejected. On manual run

PDUFA goal dateThe sponsor’s own 8-K, found by SEC full-text searchThe date and the sentence stating it are read from the filing, which the page quotes and links. A statement that names no drug is held for review.Daily
Outcome (approved, complete response)Drugs@FDA, or the sponsor’s own unhedged 8-KAn approval counts only if it falls between 120 days before and 30 days after the goal date. Neither found: shown as awaiting outcome.Daily

What “Daily” means

A scheduled job reads each daily source at 05:00 UTC and opens a pull request with what changed. The change is live once an editor merges it, so a figure can lag its source by a day or more. Every figure shows its own date, and the line under each page title says when the data and the text were last updated.
