Editorial & Affiliate Disclosures

This page documents how ClinicalInvestor produces content, how we make money, and what we will and will not do as a publication. Linked from every article. Updated as policies change.

1. Editorial Independence

ClinicalInvestor is editorially independent. Coverage decisions â which companies, drugs, and trials we cover, and what we say about them â are made without input from any company we cover, any partner we receive compensation from, or any third party.

We do not accept compensation in exchange for coverage of specific tickers. We do not write paid advertorials disguised as analysis. We do not let any issuer or PR firm review our articles before publication.

2. Not Financial Advice

Every article on this site is for educational and analytical purposes only. Nothing on this site is personalized investment advice. We do not know your financial situation, time horizon, risk tolerance, tax situation, or investment goals. We are not your investment advisor.

Biotech and clinical-stage investments carry substantial and often total risk of loss. Many small-cap biotech equities lose 50% or more on a single catalyst event. Do not invest money you cannot afford to lose. Consult a licensed financial advisor before acting on any information here.

3. Affiliate, Referral, and Partner Compensation

ClinicalInvestor may earn revenue from these sources:

These relationships do not influence editorial coverage of any individual company, drug, or trial. If we recommend a tool or service, it is because we use or have evaluated it for the use case described â not because of compensation.

Articles that link to a partner we receive compensation from carry the "Editorial disclosure" banner at the top. The relationship is documented inline; we do not bury it.

4. Position Disclosure

Unless an article states otherwise, the author and ClinicalInvestor have no position in any security mentioned and no plans to take a position within 72 hours of publication.

When the author or any contributor has a position, the position is disclosed inline at the top of the article, including direction (long/short), approximate size as a percent of portfolio, and any plans to add or trim within the next 72 hours.

5. Sources & Methodology

Trial-stage data and trial design facts are sourced from ClinicalTrials.gov, FDA AdComm transcripts, company press releases (8-K), and SEC filings (S-1, 10-K, 10-Q). Pricing, market capitalization, and float data come from public market data providers and may lag intraday by 15 or more minutes.

Any modeled forecast (probability of approval, expected value of a binary catalyst, post-readout price target) is clearly labeled as a model output and represents the author's analysis given the documented inputs. Models are not predictions; they are structured ways of thinking about a position.

6. Comments, Corrections & Updates

We correct errors. If you find a factual error in any article, email editorial@clinicalinvestor.com with the URL and the specific issue. We will correct or retract within 5 business days and append a dated correction note to the article.

We do not silently rewrite articles after publication. Substantive content changes are noted with a "Last updated" line and a brief changelog at the bottom of the article.

7. Author Authority

Articles are reviewed by Dr. Blane Jackson, DDS/MBA, founder of ClinicalInvestor. Author profile and full credentials at .

8. Privacy & Data

We use industry-standard analytics (GA4) to understand which articles are useful. We do not sell reader data. We do not run programmatic ad networks that profile readers across other sites. Newsletter signups are stored only for the purpose of sending the newsletter and can be removed at any time through the unsubscribe link in any email.

9. Jurisdictional Notes

ClinicalInvestor is a US-based publication. Content is not directed at, nor intended for distribution to or use by, any person or entity in any jurisdiction where such distribution or use would be contrary to local law or regulation.
